ABOUT sk8-2-u
sk8-2-u mobile roller skating co.
sk8-2-u was founded by Lee and Jason in 2022. We saw a need for a fun and healthy activity for people young and old to get involved in.
We were both keen skaters and thought about how we could bring the activity to communities at an affordable price. sk8-2-u has grown to 5 weekly roller discos, private parties and bookings and we still continue our extensive work with funded sessions for the community. We aim to keep our prices as low as possible in order to encourage and facilitate access to this great activity for all.
working with young people in various capacities in the care system, education and youth settings we are very aware of the importance and value of providing a safe and fun environment for people to get fit, learn a new skill and socialise. we are both very proud of what we have created and appreciate all of the support we have had so far. please don't forget to follow sk8-2-u socials TO keep up to date with upcoming events and info!
Community Projects
SK8-2-U are involved in a number of events and initiatives. We work closely with Leicester City Council to put on free sessions for young people who might not normally have access.
We have worked with The 3 Kilns Bar & Grill to provide a free roller disco for everyone.
